Product Details

Material Details

  • Frame is made up of heavy steel sheet, manufactured to protect all mechanical parts from damage caused by dust, insects or rain.
  • The simple and compact construction, already tested, excludes any possibility of ageing or deterioration for prolonged inactivity, frequent in this type of equipment.
  • Supporting insulators are of epoxy resin capable of enabling the electrodynamics stresses guaranteed by the switch.

Safety Mechanisms

  • Operating mechanism is an independent quick break & make type wherein the springs are always in the 'off' position.
  • Load break switch is installed with fully interlocked earthing blades.
  • Interlocking is provided in between LBS and doors so as to restrict the opening of the door when LBS is in engage position.
  • Interlocking is provided between the front door and LBS, so as to restrict the engaging of LBS when the front door is in the open position.

Performance Guarantee

  • The arc is quickly extinguished by the self-generated air through three cylinders with pistons, one for every pole, mounted in axis with insulators.
  • The entity of blown air, and the severance speed of the contacts, assure a perfect performance of the switch also in harsh conditions.

Load Break Switch Fuse

The non-coupled type is useful to replace existing or new D.P. (double-pole) structures for any distribution transformer centre. This is suitable for M.V. indoor/outdoor substations as well as H.T. consumers, big commercial complexes, apartments, hospitals etc.

Coupled Type

Coupled LBSF is an upgraded panel of the LBSF type. This segment is suitable for places with space constraints.

The panel is coupled to a compatible transformer through a fabricated bus duct with sleeved copper bus bars. The bus duct is directly connected to the H.V. side bushing of the transformer.

Special care is taken to avoid oil leakage at the H.V. side bushing of the transformer.

Advantages:

  • Reduces 11 Kv XLPE cable
  • Reduces No. of 11 Kv jointing kits
  • Low maintenance cost
  • Utilises minimum land Area

Suitable for industry, apartments, malls, congested areas in a city etc.

Feeder Pillar

A step toward major cost savings without any technical changes. This approach is particularly significant in the case of multiple transformers, where a single I/C XLPE cable can be used to connect multiple transformers.

The provision for outgoing XLPE cables is made in the I/C box, thus replacing the need for using a separate cable for each transformer.

Suitable for township, industry, hospital etc. wherein more than one transformer is required.

Feeder Pillar plus Coupled

The advanced version of an M.V. LBSF panel. Significant for maximum space utilisation with multi-distribution transformer centres. Combines the advantages of coupled and feeder pillar types.

Advantages:

  • Space saving
  • Compact Design
  • Maintenance free
  • Reduces 11 Kv XLPE cable
  • Reduces No. of 11 Kv jointing kits
  • Cost Saving

Suitable for malls, business centres, industrial complexes, multi-townships etc.

Isolator

This segment is suitable for isolation-only requirements. In the cases of availability of an excess cable length, this panel omits the requirement of a second breaker before the transformer.

Advantages:

  • Smooth and easy operation
  • Compact Design
  • Maintenance free
  • Cost Saving

One I/C and Multiple O/G

This segment is useful where 2/3 distribution transformers are located in one place. A singular cable can be laid for the setup, saving costs by 40%.

A breaker can be installed before this unit as per the I.E. rule. Further, the breaker can be coupled to the panel through an adopter panel.

Advantages:

  • Utilises minimum land Area
  • Reduces cable length
  • Maintenance free
  • Cost Saving

Suitable for townships, multi-speciality hospitals, commercial complexes etc.

Compact SubStation with metering cubical

The compact substation is designed, keeping in mind the personnel safety and considering H. T. equipment located in populated areas.

It is designed and tested in accordance with IEC 62271 - 200. The doors are screwed with a double-point closing device with flush-mounted handles for padlocking.

The unit can be customised for outdoor/indoor use cases as per requirement. All components are housed in an enclosure, which protects the equipment from environmental hazards and unauthorised access.

The electrical equipment is cooled by natural ventilation through openings in the substation. It is provided with separate I/C & O/G compartments.

The standard degree of protection for CSS is IP 55 - X5 D which is in accordance with IEC 60529 Standards.

It contains a metering kios [ CT & PT], and a medium voltage load break switch. This is suitable for all 11 Kv H. T. consumers.

Advantages:

  • Elegant and compact design
  • Utilises minimum land Area
  • Reduces cable length
  • Requires less number of joining kits
  • Maintenance free
  • Easy and smooth operation
  • Contains safety-enhancing interlocks

Suitable for rooftop, basement premises or portable construction sites. It is easy to install, usually mounted on skid frames, channels with lifting hooks or portable trolleys as per demand.
